By using lower metal temperatures and with zinc’s inherent fluidity, zinc die castings offer very thin wall capability, thus benefiting overall mass reduction while remaining strong and durable. These properties allow for versatility, reduced part mass and extended life. Note that zinc die casting parts require little maintenance, and are highly resistant to corrosion.

The Cascade Die Casting Group offers many finishing options especially developed for zinc castings. Requiring little pre- and post-production from machines and tools, zinc casting is know for its overall efficiency. The relatively low melting temperature of zinc allows for faster cycle times and higher yield, so that your zinc end-product can be melted, die cast and finished quickly and expertly.
