GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Cascade Die Casting Group, Inc., is pleased to announce its Atlantic division has received an “Outstanding” safety award for exemplary safety. Companies with DART (days away, restricted or transferred) records equal to, or less than 1.8 (based on 2020’s “All Manufacturing Industries” average of 1.8 total recordable cases), are recognized with an “Outstanding” award. The DART for nonferrous metal die casting foundries in 2020 was 4.6, so any members who receive NADCA Safety Awards have safety records remarkably better than average!
NADCA safety awards recognize companies in the die casting industry that exceed industry criteria in operating a safe working environment for their employees.
Safety is extremely important, not only to our industry but to Cascade Die Casting Group. According to NADCA, the die casting industry generally sees approximately twice the frequency and injury rates of other private industries. Being recognized within the industry for both the Outstanding Safety and Progress awards is an honor and reinforces our strong daily commitment to safety.
